Featured is a flavor that is deep and sweet, unique among Miyagi brewers. Brewed by a Shonai brew master, this sake is the result of a harmonious relationship between the local rice and the sake producer. The company has researched rice and planted particular strains with the cooperation of local farmers. Manazuru offers a soft taste and fine texture.


This sake's name originated in the Kansei era when it was first sampled bya castle lord who had received it as an offering. After that it was called Shinka Masamune. The brand name now comes from Tadano Tosho, who was once lord of Nakaniida castle.
