
	Otokoyama Honten, Ltd. Founded in the first year of the Taisho era,Otokoyama has been popular with "experts" on sake and the name has become synonymous with good sake. In addition, it has become a representative product of this region. Fushimi Otokoyama is brewed in an area blessed with fine local rice and good-tasting underground water. In this environment, and with warm human relations to go with it, this wonderful sake features lightness and sweetness. It goes well with fresh seafood. Once one of the Otokoyama brands was praised in Fushimi, which is south of Kyoto, at the Iwashimizu Hachiman Shinto Shrine. The name Fushimi Otokoyama comes from that.
