Founded in Shotoku, year 2 (1712). This company's first owner was allowed to bear the title "Domain Trade Master." Brews high quality sweet or dry sake, both rich and brisk with no complicated or bitter after taste. "A sake which makes us want more." Brewed with underground spring water from Mt. Zao. Has won gold medals in recent national competitions. The sakes name comes from a proverb which means something like "It's not whether you win or lose, but whether you try the game." Was the favorite sake of Miyagi's first prefectural governor, Tadanao Matsudaira. |
